What We Learnt at The Lead Innovation Summit 🗽

Attending industry events across the globe is a great way for the Digital Voices team to connect with new brands, and educate open minds on the power of Influencer Marketing. 

This week our CEO Jenny, Account Director ChloÊ, and Account Manager Priyanka headed to The Lead Innovation Summit in NYC. Throughout the two day event, the team invited prospective clients to their stand to snap up some merch, and of course, explore the realms of possibilities that Influencer Marketing can offer their brand. 

With over 2000 leaders from the realms of fashion, beauty, home, consumer, and retail innovation, the passion to rethink retail was electrifying. 

When they weren’t networking, the team tuned into insightful sessions hosted by experts and tastemakers in the retail field. 

Unpacking insights 

Chloé attended the session “Responding to the Latest Consumer Trends with Speed” with Laurie Lam, Chief Brand Officer at e.l.f Beauty. She spoke about the brand’s thirst for disruption and “moving at elf speed” by building a team that is nimble and embodies “high performance team work”. Giving employees accountability and decision making power is important to their success.

Another session, “Realigning The Organization For the New Customer Journey” with Diana Haussling, VP-GM Consumer Experience & Growth at Colgate-Palmovie, highlighted the importance of moving away from the traditional CGP brand book. She highlighted the need for brands to understand that with technology shifting the traditional consumer journey. It’s essential for brands to meet consumers where they shop and address their preferences as they evolve. 

Diana also touched upon AI, mentioning the need to democratize it, making sure there's representation across the people building the tools powering such intelligence. 

On day two, Digital Voices owned the stage as Jenny was interviewed about the immense growth of Influencer Marketing.
