Neve Fear-Smith
Neve Fear-Smith

In less than a month, the French Riviera will become our home between June 18th and 21st, amidst the hustle and bustle of the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.

As well as hosting Escape: The Beach Takeover at LBB Beach on June 18th, there will be plenty more opportunities to connect with the Digital Voices team throughout the week.

We’re excited to get to know as many creative minds as possible during this iconic festival, so don’t hesitate to contact us to book a meeting, or to simply learn more about what we do!

Here’s who you will meet at Cannes this year 🙌

Jennifer Quigley-Jones
CEO & Founder

Jenny is an Influencer Marketing global thought leader & CEO of Digital Voices. She founded the agency after working at YouTube and seeing how brands struggle to strategically partner with influencers. Jennifer speaks internationally, including TEDx, and has won many industry accolades.

What’s the most important lesson you have learned since founding Digital Voices?

"Hire people who are smarter than you. As a solo founder, it's crucial for me to have a team that are true partners in decision making, accountable and experts in their work."

Georgia Goodwin
Chief Client Officer

Georgia is our Chief Client Officer and has built long-standing relationships with global brands including PepsiCo, Unilever, and Colgate. With 15 years of experience in client-centric roles at Wavemaker and Dentsu, Georgia delivers insights on Influencer Marketing’s impact within the full media mix.

Who is your dream brand client?

I’m extremely lucky that I’ve already worked with my dream brand/client, which is BMW. As a car lover I’ve always enjoyed working in the automotive space and BMW are an all time dream brand of mine.

I loved my time leading the BMW account at Wavemaker, the exciting dynamic of master brand awareness marketing Vs hyper-localized performance driven retailer campaigns created a great balance of new and exciting opportunities. I even got to tour the UK and visit the BMW & MINI retailers to onboard them to a local and global joint marketing initiative. Not to mention, I got to test drive some pretty amazing cars!

BMW are a fantastic organization to work with, full of passionate people and great cars. I hope to have the opportunity to work together again soon!

Andre Veiga
Partnerships Director

Andre heads Partnerships at Digital Voices, building relationships with key platform partners including TikTok, YouTube & Meta. Andre previously spent 12 years at Google, including in the US at their HQ in the Executive Summit team, consulting for C-suite executives from the world’s biggest brands.

What’s the biggest opportunity for brands on social media platforms?

Social media platforms have matured into becoming a vital part of brands’ digital advertising strategies, and it’s been amazing to see the incredible growth of the Creator Economy and brand partnerships towards a similar level of importance.

But these two strategies have remained stubbornly siloed for too long, and leveraging creators, and creator ads, as a core part of a brand’s advertising on social media has, without a doubt, an enormous upside.

What are you most looking forward to at Cannes?

Most? As in only one thing?? Not possible.

  1. I’m really excited to be surrounded by some of the most innovative minds in the creative industry.
  2. I think Cannes is a fantastic place for exposure for Digital Voices. Future brand partners are going to love what we have to offer. I can’t wait to get out there and help solve our client’s problems with a glass of rosé in hand
  3. I hear people ride around in helicopters? This is my first time attending Cannes Lions so I’ll report back on that last point!

Olivia Farr
Business Development Manager

Olivia started her journey at Digital Voices as a Campaign Producer in 2020, and now leads Business Development in Europe, partnering with clients such as Pernod Ricard, Panasonic, and Duolingo. Fluent in English, Spanish, and French, Olivia is integral in escalating our growth into European markets.

In one sentence, why should brands invest in Influencer Marketing?

There are so many reasons, but I think the main one would be the value on ad spend – partnering with creators allows you to tap into specific and highly-relevant audiences, creating significant opportunities for your brand to resonate and lead to sales. Influencers build deep, long-lasting relationships with their followers so brands who appreciate and support the creator economy benefit from higher engagement and in turn, generate more ROI.

Share your favorite piece of influencer content from a client campaign.

Definitely Max Fosh’s Adobe Express video where he used Generative AI to create team logos for a pretty wild paintballing competition. The video has achieved 9.4million views, which is incredible too!

Peter Bamforth
Head of Strategy

Pete has spent 5 years at Digital Voices developing cross-platform strategies for some of the most well-known global brands. Before joining Digital Voices, Pete was a YouTube creator himself alongside working behind the scenes for some of the largest creators on the platform, making him an expert in the Creator Economy.

What’s your favorite social media platform and why?

I’ve always been a huge advocate for YouTube. There are so many amazingly talented creators on there who are experts at long-form storytelling and many have built powerful communities that go beyond the platform itself - Yes Theory is a great example of this.

At a time when a lot of influencer budget is going towards short-form first platforms, I still see YouTube as the most reliable place to deliver creative-led content that can deliver success across the funnel.

Kerry Meakins
Head of Marketing

Kerry leads the global marketing strategy for the agency, and spends time understanding our clients and what makes them tick. She brings with her 10 years of experience in marketing, primarily within the publishing industry, including Bauer Media and The Drum.

What’s your favorite TikTok trend?

My favorite trend is brands stitching funny videos of people falling over or rolling off beds into their own videos. Check out this video by Curry’s. It really shows the value of brands getting involved in entertaining content on social media.
